2027 TRYOUTS

Open tryouts are held annually for the upcoming season. We evaluate players on hitting, fielding, throwing, running speed, and overall baseball IQ. Our tryouts mimic a practice more so than a combine so our coaches can see players perform in a more familiar setting and to gain a better grasp of not just their baseball skill level, but also their qualities as a teammate. All age groups (8U through 18U) are welcome.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Check In

Arrive 15 minutes early. Check in at entrance.

Warm-Up

Dynamic stretching and throwing progressions led by Driving Force coaching staff.

Fielding & Defense

Infield and outfield evaluations. Players are assessed on footwork, range, arm strength, and accuracy.

Hitting

Live batting practice and tee work. Coaches evaluate mechanics, bat speed, and contact consistency.

Running & Athleticism

Base running evaluation to assess speed and athleticism.

Results

Families will be contacted via email with an invitation to join Driving Force Baseball with placement and next steps if selected to join the DFB Family.
